Resin Bond Driveways

Another common type of surfacing for the front of your home are resin bonded driveways in Warwickshire. They are often confused with resin-bound since the materials involved are very similar. The most significant difference between the two types of resin surfacing is resin bound is encapsulated whilst resin bond is laid on top instead.

On a hard standing surface, a resin adhesive is applied by either a rubber-tipped rake or a roller, followed up with a stone chip laid directly on top of it. It is an effective solution for extensive pathways and areas but not as durable or as clean as resin bound.

With resin bonded surfacing, the top layer can become loose. It is more similar to having a gravel stone finish with the bottom layer held in place with adhesive whilst bounded options are entirely encased in the resin solution.
